The Unique Group of Industries was founded in 1979 by a team of two mechanical engineers, Bharat Thakker and Ramesh Tekchandaney. The duo having worked in the industry had immense field experience to back their academic credentials. B. R. Engineers, the first firm of the group was created with a mission to serve the Indian industry with quality process equipment. With innovative designs, quality products and reliable after sales services, business flourished.

The demand for process equipment and the ever increasing customer expectations prompted the creation of the second firm of the group; Mixi-Therm Engineers was born in 1982. Further success resulted in the formation of Unique Mixers and Furnaces Pvt. Ltd. in 1984. The last addition to the group has been Unimix Equipment Pvt. Ltd. in 1996. The growth has been catalyzed by a dynamic team of efficient and hard working engineers from Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial and Electronics background.

In the last 25 years, the company has grown to supply mixing, blending, drying, size-reduction and other customized process equipment to companies world wide. Our main area of specialization has been in the field of industrial mixing where our ‘Unique’ designs have yielded outstanding results for our customers in terms of productivity and process performance. Today, Unique continues to serve the industry with the same commitment and passion that formed the base for its creation.
